"Our need to follow  "In The Footsteps Of The Founders" to stop terrorism and tyranny -- led by America's nobility: America's veterans."

As we approach Christmas Day and the New Year, we need to commit ourselves  in this new year to  escalate the fight  against terrorism and tyranny, foreign and domestic, which can only be won if we walk "In The Footsteps of the Founders. We must  follow Founding Fathers' values which created our freedom, if we are to preserve it. This includes  fighting, not appeasing, not surrendering to, tyranny and  terrorism at abroad and at home. This  includes at minimum by having the courage to protecting the symbols of our American heritage from desecration -- from protecting  the Flag by passage of the Flag Amendment;  to protecting our veterans memorials by preserving Mt. Soledad "as it is, where it is," with Cross intact, and thereby protect all veterans memorials.

In this battle, veterans are the Americans who have most exemplified faithfulness to the values of the Founding Fathers. We must  follow the example of  our first veterans, under Gen. Washington, including at Valley Forge at Christmas; the WWI guys and the Christmas truce; the WWII guys at the Battle of the Bulge; our American POW's in Vietnam, some of whom spent seven Christmases under Communist torture and never gave up;  through Desert Storm under Stormin' Norman Shwarzkopf taking down Saddam Insane; through Iraq and Afghanistan, and at home.

FOR GOD AND COUNTRY FOREVER; SURRENDER TO TYRANNY--NEVER!
--Rees
