  1. In light of the fact that President Barack Obama has attempted to divert attention from his failure of competent leadership of our failing economy by issuing in Texas a call for illegal aliens to be made legal although Obama did nothing to do so in the first two years of his regime in which self-declared "progressive" liberal Democrats like him controlled all three branches of government; and,

In light of the fact that Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has now called for Americans to "rise up" (his words) to demand special benefits for illegal aliens while continuing his efforts to bankrupt America by failed "progressive" tax-and-spend policies; and,

In light of the fact that both Obama and Reid ignored the statutorily-mandated American "National Day Of Prayer" (May 5) while publicly pandering politically for Hispanic votes by celebrating Mexican "Cinco de Mayo" while Mexico ignores that day, allow me to respectfully request that you consider the points raised in my recent NewsWithViews.com column:
Rees Lloyd -- Celebrate American National Day of Prayer, Not Mexican "CINCO DE MAYO"
