Lt. Col. Orson Swindle (USMC, ret.): March 11, marks the  anniversary of his being shot down on his last mission in Vietnam. A decorated POW for seven years, he is widely admired by former POWs for his resistance to his communist captors. As a civilian, he served in the Reagan Administration as Ass't Secretary of Commerce. He later served on the Federal Trade Commission from 1997 to 2005. In 2008, he led Veterans For John McCain, his former cellmate at the notorious "Hanoi Hilton" in Vietnam. Today he is a highly respected conservative political advisor commentator, and outspoken patriot.

Charles C. “Chuck” McDougald  graduated from the University of Georgia in 1963, . A veteran of the Vietnam War, Chuck spent five and a half years in the Army, from 1964 to 1969, serving in Special Forces during the last four years of his career. He had two combat tours. The first, in Vietnam, from 1966 to 1967; the second, along the Thai-Laotian border from1968 to 1969. He achieved the rank of Captain. He is a second-generation warrior; at the age of 16, his father fought with the 20th Machine Gun Battalion in France in World War I  After his military service, Chuck lived in Asia for 14 years, including stays in Vietnam, Hong Kong and the Philippines.He wrote three books about the Philippines. . He worked on Senator John McCain’s 2000 presidential campaign . In 2007, he volunteered again for Senator McCain’s presidential campaign, and headed the Veterans Coalition, first for California, then for the Western Region. In 2010, he served as Statewide Volunteer Chair for Carly Fiorina’s campaign for the U.S. Senate.  He was a delegate to the Republican National Convention twice, in 2008 and 2016.Currently he serves as chair of the CA GOP Veterans Association and is CA Chair of Veterans4Trump. Chuck has been married for 29 years. He has two children, ages 25 and 22. He resides in the Bay Area.
