ReplyDeleteI previously alerted readers of Chuck Wilder's Blog to the special edition of Whistleblower magazine entitled “Dropping the ‘H’-Bomb” (February, 2011), which is devoted entirely to repeal of “Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell” policy in the “lame duck” 111th Democrat Congress.
Whistleblower published also a “joint statement” calling for the 112th Congress to reinstate Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell by two of America’s greatest living military heroes: Rear Admiral Jeremiah A. Denton (USN, ret.), seven years/seven months a prisoner of war in Vietnam and later a U.S. Senator (Alabama); and Maj. Gen. Patrick H. Brady (USA, ret.), Medal of Honor (Vietnam). I alert you now to consider the thought-provoking current issue of Whistleblower entitled: “States of Rebellion: How legislators and governors nationwide are openly challenging a rogue president.” The articles contain information and analysis pertaining to a wide range of acts of the once-sovereign states, under the Tenth Amendment, in opposition to the overreaching expansion of the federal government by the Obama regime.
In particular, I want to alert you to a letter-to-the editor pertaining to “Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell,” by San Diego Attorney Charles S. LiMandri, Western Regional Director of the Thomas More Law Cente, who has led the fight against the ACLU to save Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial:
“Thank you for your excellent ‘Dropping The “H”-Bomb’ issue of Whistleblower [Feb.,2011]. The fact is that the liberals disrespect our nation’s heroes (both living and dead) and are headed by a ‘progressive’ (pro-Moslem) president who has led our nation down a dark and dangerous path.
“I believe the emasculation of our military, through the disgraceful repeal of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t tell,’ is the final step that has left us with an anti-Christian government that George Washington would neither recognize nor respect.
“Patriotic Americans have been made to watch in disbelief as Obama and his minions have systematically dismantled the moral and religious foundations of our nation that Washington and our other enlightened founders had built up with their great courage and sacrifice.
“I honestly do not think our nation, as we have known it, can survive this immoral onslaught. If it is not already too late for us, it certainly will be before Obama is out of office. Let’s continue to work and pray for a miracle, as that is what it will take to save our once great nation from eventual defeat, given its continuing tragic decline.”

“Editor’s note: The letter-writer, attorney Charles S. LiMandri, has done more than any other human being to save Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial ‘as it is, where it is,’ with the Latin Cross intact, despite the ACLU and others’ attempts for two decades to destroy it. Since the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals recently held the memorial to be unconstitutional, the case is destined for the Supreme Court.”
I know Attorney Charles LiMandri, and I know what David Kupelian writes about him in “Whistleblower” is absolutely true. More Americans should know it, particularly veterans.
